Rudolf, a bookshop salesman, Gabriel, an actor, and Nicolas, a bar waiter, share more than one common point: the three of them are thirty-something, gay and... neurotic! So what a shock when following a sentimental break-up, Rudolf decides to leave Paris (and his two friends at the same time). What he wants is to put order in his life and it seems to him the best thing to do is to move back to the village of his birth, somewhere in the Austrian mountains, far from the chaos of Parisian life. After a moment of panic, Gabriel and Nicolas decide to follow Rudolf to Styria. Little do they know how eventful their trip will be...

Trois amis gays, trentenaires névrosés, parisiens agités, perdus dans les montagnes autrichiennes. Entre sommets vertigineux et gouffres abyssaux, il est peut-être temps de faire le point sur leurs vies, leurs amours et leur amitié…

Eine Ode an die Freundschaft: Buchhändler Rudolf, Schauspieler Gabriel und Kellner Nicolas sind beste Kumpels und sich in einigen Punkten ihres Lebens sehr ähnlich: Sie sind nicht nur alle in ihren Dreißigern und schwul, sondern auch liebenswerte Großstadt-Neurotiker. Nach einem abrupten Beziehungsende und dem Schock darüber will Rudolf Paris verlassen. Der vom Liebeskummer Geplagte will sein Leben wieder auf die Reihe kriegen, und der beste Ort für diese Mammutaufgabe scheint ihm sein malerischer Geburtsort in den österreichischen Bergen - Hauptsache weit weg vom Chaos des Stadtlebens.

Rudolf, um vendedor de livros, Gabriel, um ator, e Nicolas, um garçom, compartilham mais de um ponto comum: os três tem trinta e poucos, são gays e... neuróticos! Então, qual não é o choque depois que após um rompimento, Rudolf decide deixar Paris (e seus dois amigos ao mesmo tempo). O que ele quer é colocar ordem em sua vida e parece que o melhor a fazer é voltar para a aldeia onde nasceu, em algum lugar nas montanhas austríacas, longe do caos da vida parisiense.

Depois de um momento de pânico, Gabriel e Nicolas decidem seguir Rudolf para as montanhas na Styria. Mal eles sabem o quão agitada será essa viagem...
