You mean like a flak jacket and rucksack? Clothes don't weigh 60+ pounds but thanks for playing.
So tell me, what should an island of warrior women stemming from Ancient Greece that have isolated themselves from the rest of the world for nearly 2000 years be wearing? Crocs?
Ask the original creators of Wonder Woman. That's like asking why superman wears tights and a cape. It's a superhero movie based on characters that were created decades ago. It's freaking fiction.
I wouldn't go with that argument considering the original creator made comics was basically bondage porn marketed to children.
Edit: Removed link since I just noticed the article links to porn.
Bondage maybe but definitely not porn. I don't see the harm in the original comics.
That's arguable considering the first Wonder Woman comics by Marston were filled with bondage, submission, and domination — and even spanking games with small children. The early comics also alluded a lot to Wonder Woman's desire to make men slaves (especially directed at Steve Trevor). Thank goodness a lot of that got toned down (or eliminated) over the years.

I thought it was fairly authentic to Greek Armor. They didn't really wear much.

Ya ... you try marching, let alone fighting, with heavy armour.

You clearly don't know anything about pre-modern warfare. People would march for months. You can't do that with heavy armour. Get out of this thread.

Women will probably get pissed off about it soon after they stop staring at Thors abs.

And what kind of Armor does Supes wear? Oh I forgot, a cape!
