You hand the carnie 10 tickets and you and your date go through the red door into the House of Mirrors. Inside, you see a labyrinth of mirrors of all shapes and sizes. There were mirrors that make you short and fat, tall and skinny, bubbly and twisted. There were hallways, paths and tunnels with mirrors lining up and down the walls. You and your date continued to play hide and seek, and check out every inch of the barn until you reached the exit. Outside, you were back in a clearing behind the barn with a tractor in the middle of the field. The clown with the twisted teeth emerged from the corner of the barn and was walking towards the tractor. He looked at you and smiled, “still interested in going on a hayride with you and your date?” He asked. “It’s a nice night for a romantic ride through the orchard.”

“I thought it was a haunted orchard.” You replied sarcastically. He laughed, and looked at your date that seemed to be getting uncomfortable.

“Hop in on the back; you’re in for a treat.” His voice was friendly, but his gaze was dark.
