An incestuous love affair. Meme and Jeremias are the younger children in a typical bourgeois family. Their mother Lucia is the dominant force in the household, but her fixation on upholding the niceties of upper middle class life has prevented her from seeing what is going on under her roof. When the siblings’ older brother and his fiancee arrive home for their wedding, it seems inevitable that the concealment will be impossible to sustain. But equally it becomes apparent that if Lucia were to find out about the affair, there would be catastrophic consequences.

Lucia et Daniel ont trois enfants : Ezequiel, parti vivre en Espagne, Jeremias et leur fille cadette Meme. Lucia, mère pleine de prétentions, croit tout maîtriser selon les critères et les habitudes d'une famille bourgeoise argentine type; elle ne voit pas que dans sa propre maison Jeremias et Meme entretiennent une relation cachée. Ezequiel, le frère aîné arrive d'Espagne pour se marier sous le regard empli de fierté de ses parents. Sa présence et celle de sa fiancée Montse révèlent la fraligité d'un ordre des choses qui semblait si parfait. L'amour se transforme en péché mais son pouvoir résiste à la morale imposée.

Meme y Jeremías viven rodeados de un entorno familiar disfuncional. A un padre casi ausente se le opone una estructura matriarcal manejada por una madre tan posesiva como dominadora.
