Hollywood Blvd. in the '70s

I went to Hollywood in 1981 and it looked just like in this movie. Gritty and tacky. Kind of scary too. I didn't see any Jeanie, Annie, Madge or Deidre though, LOL.... or anyone wearing a plastic see-thru dress either like Mary Weirdo.

This movie was very dry, I never really felt anything for the characters
