Discuss A Scanner Darkly

I wonder if this story could be shown on the screen without the rotoscoping. Blade Runner worked without it. I don't think this Philip Dick story would work without it.

It would but it would made for a bit bland of a film (which it kinda is anyways). I think the rotoscoping works to add the element that the characters are zonked out of their gourds.

A Scanner Darkly (2006) - 6 outta 10 stars

I enjoyed A Scanner Darkly, although it is a tad bit dull.
