Pharmaceutical student, Keiko witnesses her boyfriend having an affair. Shocked and disappointed, she jumps on a train ("destination anywhere, east or west, she don't care") and ends up in a town named Masao in Tokyo's remote suburbs. There, she gets a part-time job at a newly opened drugstore. What do ya know.. The local shopping district's middle-aged men all fall for the young girl's charms, and they start practicing lacrosse once they have found out that that's her favourite sport.

Keiko Obayashi erre seule, déboussolée depuis qu’elle a découvert son fiancé au bain avec une inconnue. Ses pas la mènent dans le quartier marchand Bamboo Mall, où elle trouve un job à temps partiel dans la toute nouvelle pharmacie. Mais certains commerçants de la rue voient d’un mauvais œil cette nouvelle concurrence qu’ils jugent déloyale.

恵子は薬科大学の３年生。大学ではラクロス部で活躍する元気な女の子。同棲中の彼氏ともラブラブのはずだったが、ある日突然破局が訪れる。二股かけられていたことが分かり、大泣きしながら電車に飛び乗って辿り着いたのは、聞いたことも無い郊外の街・魔狭尾（まさお）だった。さびれた商店街の先にある、１軒のドラッグストア、おかまの兄弟薬剤師がとっても親身に失恋話を聞いてくれて、何故かなりゆきでバイトすることになる。そんな恵子の前に、商店街の怪しい中年オヤジたちが現れる。
