Discuss Oh, God! Book II

Let me say first off. This is not a totally great movie. By no means. But it does have a few ultra-great scenes. Fist great scene is the opening. We are shown the world/mind of God. It is very quiet one, and a highly intriguing bit when lightning strikes and God says something like "Not now. I'm thinking!". If He's the creator does He not control the lightning? I will in later postings tell of the next two ultra-great beyond belief scenes. Now as to the second part of my posting title.

In 2014 it became an established scientific fact that water is older than the Sun in the sky. This agreed with Genesis Chapter One/Verse One when it reads how darkness was on the face of the deep and God's spirit hovered over the WATERS! A few days and passages later God will make the Sun/ Check Discover magazine Sep. 2014 for more on water older than Sun. This and stuff like round Earth hanging on nothing show how scientifically accurate beyond belief and proved it is a big message sent by something outside science as we understand it!

Check great book by Ray Comfort at amazon on subject. Book is called "Scientific facts in the Bible". It will show a lot of incredible scientific accuracy in the Good Book!

Interesting bit when God discusses creating the Earth without computers.

One-of the few movies about God in his raw form and not Jesus.

This film series was considered one that had potential from the start due to its amazingly scripted central character! It was not like other film series where the sequels get so increasingly awful that we forget the great original film we fell for.

38th anniversary of its release date of Oct. 3, 1980 is coming up.

Two more years and the movie will of course be 40 years old.

A 40th anniversary DVD Edition would be great in two years.

Google "The incredible accuracy of the Bible" and "By Wayne Jackson" at Google at the same time like I just did.

The Bible even describes how ants store up food for the winter and it refers to ants as females. It was discovered recently Middle Eastern ants actually do just this and generally are female. Where would Bible writers conventionally have gotten info like this?

I do not think the first OG got a special 40th anniversary release on DVD last year. This one probably won't either.

Shame.

Hoping but not expecting a special 40th Edition DVD.

In the early 80's this was a cable favorite.

I remember it was in a program guide for Preview. Preview was a pay-tv service in 1981.

A film that almost was great!

I found a rare Bible that mentioned Genesis Chap. 1 Day 5 reference to Dinosaurs in footnotes section.
