"Marie is dangerous", Antoine warns. It hasn't stopped Siméon from dropping everything, or, more precisely, letting go the little that he had, to secretly follow her. Oscar, his roommate, a musician with sleepwalking tendencies, and Antoine, a novelist lacking inspiration, quickly follow in his footsteps. Here they all are at the end of the Earth, which is to say, on an island. It's quite possible that these four are linked by something beyond their comprehension. Perhaps simply a taste for adventure. Or the desire to add some fantasy and a touch of the romantic to their lives.

"Marie est dangereuse" , a prévenu Antoine. Ce qui n'a pas empêché Siméon de tout lâcher, ou plus exactement pas grand-chose, pour la suivre en secret. Oscar, son co-locataire somnambule et musicien, et Antoine, le romancier en mal d'inspiration, lui ont vite emboîté le pas. Les voilà au bout de la Terre, c'est-à-dire sur une île. Il est possible que ces quatre-là soient liés par quelque chose qui les dépasse. Peut-être simplement le goût de l’aventure. Ou l'envie de mettre du romanesque dans leur vie...

Journalist Siméon (Pierre Rochefort) findet auf dem Weg aus der Bar die Brieftasche von Marie (Vimala Pons). Der Fund wird für mächtigen Trubel sorgen! Marie ist Gelegenheitsmodell, gescheiterte Babysitterin – und frischgebackener Single, weil sie sich gerade von Antoine (Eric Cantona) getrennt hat, einem Autor, mit dem sie sehr lange zusammen war. Als sich Siméon und Marie zur Übergabe des Portemonnaies treffen, schalten seine Gefühle direkt auf rosarot, ist der Journalist sofort von einem Ohr bis zum anderen verliebt. Damit beginnt ein Katz-und-Maus-Spiel, bei dem bald auch Siméons WG-Partner Oscar (Damien Chapelle) mitmacht. Auf der kleinen Ile de Groix sorgen eine geladene Waffe und der ausgeflippte alte Popstar Cosmo (André Wilms) dafür, dass die Situation weiter außer Kontrolle gerät…
