OMG I was wracking my brain trying to figure out which movie this was.

I was running through my list of over 1400 rated films here seeing if I can figure out which movie this was and If I finished going through it I would have been disappointed because lo and behold I had forgotten to rate it. Thank the gods my interwebs google search pulled it up by searching:
movie about people trapped in a shelter during a nuclear holocaust and the lone survivor escapes in a radiation suit
This website is sorely lacking that "Would like to know" section they had at IMDB. My memory just ain't what it used to be.

Good post, movie_nazi.
I rented this film a few years back on a whim, having never heard of it, and thought it was a decent entry into the post-apocalypse genre. Assuming the information here on TMDB is correct, this is another film which demonstrates that a low budget ($3 million) does not have to equal "bad movie". I thought it was well-made, and that the heroine Eva (Lauren German) as well as the young girl Wendi (Abbey Thickson) were both very convincing characters (without giving too much away, I read an interview with Thickson where she said her Mom, who was on set during the filming, was freaking out during the scene where she is taken away).
An extremely bleak film with a very un-Hollywood ending, the last few minutes of the film with Eva in the radiation suit have some unforgettable imagery.
I consider this film a "hidden gem" in the post-apocalypse genre, and would rate it a 3 or a 3.5 out of 5 on the TMDB scale.
Side-note: you are right, movie_nazi, about the lack of a "Would like to know" section here on TMDB; this would be another good reason for this website to bring back the "General" board it unfortunately got rid of back around June of 2017.

Yeah, I thought I remember a "General" board before and I looked for that in place of the "Need to Know" board. I almost opted to just choosing a random movie and placing my " need to know" question there.
Yes, for a low budget film this actually wasn't half bad. I probably should go back and rewatch it but from what I remember it was better than I expected it to be. I don't even know where the heck I bumped into it.
