I thought this movie had a really promising start. The idea for the demon was a smart extension of other body-hopping demons like Fallen and the screaming legitimately amped up terror in the scenes of mayhem. But the movie was just too short - no explanation for flashback scenes with the sex-demon, no follow-up from that person he called to check on the bloodline, the preacher's character was thin as cardboard and worst of all, the ending was just pedestrian and by the numbers.

Also, why didn't the FBI agent just arm up with a taser? If they had time to call a town meeting, she had time to get a taser.
