I thought it was most fascinating when one considers it was based from a true story. Of course much of what is depicted on the screen really didn't happen, but I knew that before watching it on the big screen. The fact one can tour through the real house today gives the movie a real connection.

Weird thing - I think it was pulled from the movie theaters. I looked everywhere near me and no showings. Did this movie not do well in box office or something?

I just did a quick search and it's still playing in a couple theatres in my area.

I'm over in Seattle, I can't find anything. I want to see this movie! LOL. I might have to wait until the movie is available for digital rental.

It is listed as a wide release but that means it only had to play in more than 599 theaters. I definitely wasn't a truly full release. Many areas that I checked never played it at all. In my area, in never played in the first run theaters but it just appeared in the $3 second-run theater.
