This film sounded very appealing on paper and the reviews were good, but other than a few bright spots I found it awfully dull and generic. It has been selected, with sadly little competition, as Singapore's entry for next year's Oscars but there's not a hope it makes the shortlist. Such a shame, as a man and elephant road movie had potential to be a real sleeper/charmer.
