Paul plays an up and coming lawyer. The beautiful Barbara Rush plays his love interest.
A wonderful drama not to be missed.

It was indeed a wonderful drama, and I enjoyed quite much. It had a lot to offer throughout and of the older Paul Newman films, it is definitely one of the better ones. One thing that was odd to me, at some point during the latter stages of the film, Barbara Rush (Joan) says that ten years had passed since they met and started dating. That was a bit weird, I don't think the film properly conveyed that ten years had passed. :)
