Movie is at first in dubbed English. Then later everyone is actually speaking English.
The ship Ulysses (Douglas) travels in is amazing.
Beautiful Penelope does not look much older than her son, Telemachus.
Amusing bit when Ulysses comes into the palace disguised.
This movie-story is based on Greek Mythology. That mythology is nearly all fake with false make-believe Gods like Zeus and Apollo. However, the mythology does share a single character outright with the Scientifically accurate, true Bible (round Earth, jets streams, man from soil, air has wind, etc). The character it shares is Iapetos (the Greeks founding father of their race) and Japeth, Noah's son. No mystery. There were ships from Jerusalem docking in Athens harbor for centuries. The Bible's bit on Japheth is all true. Pagan Greeks have him wrongly later in time. Other big problems with the pagan version of Japeth also, but hey--enough for one point!
