I wanted to see the 2nd one because of Amanda Seyfried, but there was not much of her in it as they used someone else to portray her younger self. That was disappointing. Then to make matters worse, as I've said before; I see a lot of these movies at the drive-in. Well, there was something wrong with the audio in this particular case. Once the music started playing; all I mostly heard was the center channel...another words mostly only the vocals. It was really hard to hear the music as it was very low in the volume, but the voices were loud and clear! The audio was so honorably off balance I started to cringe at the beginning of each musical number, and the vocal part was so loud and isolated...I could hear every little flaw and horrible detail in their voices.
I'm sure all I was hearing was the center channel. If it was a mix of all the channels, at least I would have heard a very nice stereo down mix with the singing voices nicely mixed in and I would not have had to hear every single little flaw of every single voice.
In my case, not enough of Amanda Seyfried and mostly no music during the musical segments.
