It's a fairly mediocre western and definitely not Terence Hill's best work and it is missing his signature comedy. There is one interesting part, though. At approximately one hour and thirteen minutes in there is a scene where the titular character is disarmed and ordered to hand his gun to the enemy. Now what happens is that he is holding the gun the wrong way around, but as he is handing the gun to the enemy he sort of twirls it around so the weapon is upside down, but his finger is in the trigger and he shoots it right at the enemy guy's face. If you go in slow motion you can see the flames shooting out of the weapon and going directly towards the guy's face. Now these days it is fairly common knowledge that even the discharge from a weapon loaded with blanks can be lethal with the most famous victim in show business probably being Jon-Erik Hexum. Now this movie was filmed in 1968 which makes me believe that they probably did not fully know what they were dealing with, but it makes me wonder did they in fact have some sort of security measures or did they just get lucky that the discharge (hopefully) did not injury the guy.
