Because you will be sorely disappointed. Saw this movie on some list of recommended adventure/Indiana Jones type movies, but it's pretty crappy on all accounts. The writing is rather atrocious and I'm not entirely sure what the beginning of the movie where they speak of some curse actually has to do with the rest of the movie, which seems to be about the blackmarket of antiquities. Speaking of bad writing they really did a number on the lead actress who is an archeologist / egyptologist, but is absolutely and completely frightened by dark places and human remains and becomes hysterical when subjected to either. I guess they didn't have career counseling and guidance when she was a student. Can't wait to see what her next move is; probably becoming a flight attendent because of her fear of flying.
