David has a woman he loves, two lovely young children, a band of friends with whom they go on holiday. But on his return from a stay in the Vosges, he is interrogated by the police in connection with an investigation into a murder. Quickly, it is established that David, under irreproachable looks, does not have a life as smooth as what he claims. Despite the support of his best friend, Noël, and his lawyer, Marco, the doubt spreads.

David heeft een vrouw van wie hij houdt, twee lieve jonge kinderen, een groep vrienden met wie ze op vakantie gaan. Maar bij terugkomst van een verblijf in de Vogezen wordt hij door de politie ondervraagd in verband met een onderzoek naar een moord. Al snel wordt vastgesteld dat David, niet zo'n soepel leven leidt als hij beweert. Ondanks de steun van zijn beste vriend Noël en zijn advocaat Marco groeit de twijfel.

David wiedzie szczęśliwe i spokojne życie rodzinne. Ma nie tylko kochającą żonę i dwoje uroczych małych dzieci, lecz także wielu oddanych przyjaciół, z którymi regularnie wybiera się na wakacje. Kiedy jednak wraca z ostatniej podróży do Wogezów, David nieoczekiwanie zostaje zatrzymany przez funkcjonariuszy policji. Rodzina zostaje powiadomiona, że będzie zeznawał w sprawie okrutnej zbrodni. Szybko wychodzi na jaw, że idealne życie Davida było utkane z pozorów. Mimo iż jego najbliższy przyjaciel Noël i jego adwokat Marco stoją za nim murem, konflikty i wątpliwości potęgują się.
