TOTAL RECALL.

In total recall, we have an agent who believes the reality he created for himself, he becomes that character. Here we have the exact same thing, an agent who gets a hit on his head and believes he is the cover he was playing.

If I had written total recall I'd be wondering if I could sue someone for lifting my premise and rewriting a movie around it.

also Truman Show.

This even has the fake wife and taxi driver as a main character.

Wow! You're totally right about the similarity of the story construction. I just finished watching it again after a few years, and surprised I didn't make that connection.
