原著為海老原武司從1980年開始連載的人氣漫畫《討厭啦真知子老師》，為了紀念作者從事漫畫行業45週年而拍攝了真人化電影。故事講述池上健太自家鄉的高中畢業後10年，在東京從事漫畫家的工作。某天他收到高中同學金三的聯絡，說母校即將被拆遷，而此時他正為漫畫畫不下去而煩惱。為了轉換心情，健太回到故鄉和老同學們重聚，並加入了“學校拆遷反對派”。在重拾對曾經的老師真知子的回憶後，健太又開始重新拿起了畫筆……真知子老師的扮演者是首次主演電影，作為雜誌封面模特活躍的大澤玲美。搞笑組合“Shizuru”的村上純、池田一真、搞笑組合“Rice”的関町知弘，前AKB48成員増田有華、鈴木瑪莉亞等人參演
