Eli is a teenager struggling with an eating disorder, and every aspect of his life is on the brink of disaster. He lives in a seedy neighborhood in Southern Tel Aviv with his mother and her new husband, two ex-junkies, while his alcoholic father is an unemployed artist and street philosopher. Eli's desperate efforts to unite his family spin out of control, when a minor family dispute erupts into a cataclysmic tragedy.

אלי (נוה צור, גאליס), נער עם הפרעות אכילה מתגורר בשכונת הארגזים עם סימה אמו ויפת בעלה, זוג נרקומנים בגמילה. אלי נקרע בין דאגתו לאמו ובין רצונו לגור עם אביו יומטוב, אמן מעט תמהוני ומהורהר, חריג בנוף המקומי של השכונה. באווירה המתפקעת מיצרים ואלימות של דרום תל אביב, דבר אינו נשאר בממדיו הטבעיים ולמרות ניסיונותיו של אלי להיות המבוגר האחראי, סכסוך משפחתי קטן מתפתח לטרגדיה שעיוורון ותאוות נקם משחקים בה תפקיד מרכזי.
