Francois en Leo zijn oude vrienden, en op een gegeven moment besluiten ze op zoek te gaan naar een van hun jeugdvrienden, de dupe van een aantal van hun praktische grappen. In ware vorm kiezen de mannen ervoor om nog een grap uit te halen met hun vriend, maar hun plannen mislukken wanneer zijn vrouw Helene in beeld komt. Haar aanwezigheid dwingt hen om hun streken in een nieuw licht te heroverwegen.

François, un cadre sans histoire, mène une existence paisible, entouré de sa femme et de ses enfants. Un jour, il découvre sur la couverture d'un roman policier le portrait de son vieux complice Léo, qu'il n'a pas vu depuis 25 ans et qu'il connut jadis en colonie de vacances.

Ce dernier est devenu cascadeur de cinéma mais est resté un éternel adolescent. Ensemble, ils décident de retrouver Kuntchinski, le troisième larron de la bande, pour recommencer le jeu qu'ils affectionnaient tant durant leur adolescence.

In a routine look at what it means to finally leave adolescence behind — even in one’s mature years — this series of mood swings and sequences focuses on two grown men. Francois (Jean Francois Stevenin, the director) and Leo (Yves Alonso) are old friends, and at one point they decide to go out and search for one of their childhood buddies, the brunt of several of their practical jokes. In true form, the men opt for playing yet another practical joke on their friend, but their plans backfire when his wife Helene (Carole Bouquet) comes into the picture instead. Her presence forces them to reconsider their shenanigans in a new light.
