阳光青年阿海（彭于晏 饰）是一个热爱摄影的大男孩，不谙世事的他和朋友合开照相馆，却被朋友骗光钱财，还背负着巨额债务。阿海情急之下打伤朋友，带着女友小鱼（夏于乔 饰）仓皇跑路，二人骑着摩托径直来到祖父辈的家乡——位于大山深处的菁桐村。这里气氛肃杀，冷清阴森，虽有种种不安，但是他们还是兴奋地回到了张家的老宅。这是一幢战前便建起来的日式结构的大房子，他们偶然在屋子里发现阿海祖父当年经营照相馆时留下的设备，于是便兴起重开照相馆的念头。

入夜，村中不见人烟。就在这时，自称二叔（许效舜 饰）二婶（郎祖筠 饰）的两个“人”走进了屋内……

Young lvoers Yu and Hoi run away from their families and set up a photo studio in an old and worn-out building. Anxious to develop their fledging business, they’re shocked to find out that the shop is haunted! The two mischevious ghosts in the photo studio terrorize the couple by putting them in terrifying. embarrassing and hilarious situationhs, all of which put their love to the test.
