Antoni Farrazzi, a seasonal worker in the maintenance of the ski lifts, is called to the resort of Nivance, run by a certain Matthias, who supports the reputation of the resort with a subterfuge. Antoni is going to meet Josefa, a beautiful and amnesiac woman who lives with Matthias and whom he once knew as a child.

Antoni Farrazzi, saisonnier travaillant a la maintenance des remontees mecaniques, est appele a la station de Nivance dirigee par un certain Matthias qui soutient la reputation de la station grace a un subterfuge. Antoni va retrouver Josefa, belle et amnesique, qui vit avec Matthias et qu'il a connue, jadis, dans leur enfance.
