2032年，传说级国民偶像组合「SEVENTH SISTERS」突然宣布解散，成员各人去向不明。连如此高人气的组合都要解散，所有人都不由得萌生了“偶像已经完了”的想法。自此之后偶像业界进入了冰河期，偶像也成为了过时的事物。

两年后，一名年轻人被任命为次世代偶像剧场式工作室「777」的第二代经理。尽管777工作室位于享誉盛名的国家级指定国际娱乐都市区「Tokyo-7th」，但是在偶像冰河期的当下，这个工作室也和其他从事偶像事业的单位一样十分清闲，没有多少实质性的工作。

就在这一天，一位奇怪的美女经纪人出现在年轻人面前。她说：“偶像已经完了的话，那就创造新的「偶像」好了！来创造由强大牵绊连结而成，真正意义上的「SISTERS」吧！”

于是，关于年轻人与那些尚未谋面的未来偶像的故事，就这样拉开了序幕——

L'histoire se passe en l'an 2032. Le groupe d'idoles légendaire "7th Sisters" s'est retiré de l'industrie et a disparu. Ce fût la fin de l'industrie des idoles...

2 ans plus tard, un jeune employé est embauché pour être le chef du studio de la nouvelle génération d'idoles de Tokyo, "777 (Three Seven)" aussi appelé Nanastar.. Néanmoins, la ville continue de croire que les idoles sont du passé, et Nanastar n'en est pas une exception. Leur misère continue, mais un jour, une mystérieuse et magnifique femme arrive et déclare "Si les idoles du passé ont disparu, nous n'avons qu'à en créer de nouvelles! De vraies 'sœurs' liées par leurs puissantes amitiés! " L'histoire des idoles du futur, les sœurs Nanastar, commence maintenant.

“アイドル氷河期”と呼ばれる西暦2034年、国際娯楽指定都市Tokyo-7th。

多くのアイドルやスタジオが“時代遅れ”となり、姿を消していくなか、次世代アイドル劇場型スタジオ『777』（通称・ナナスタ）では、デビューしたばかりのアイドル、「777☆SISTERS」が今日も汗を流していた。

そんなある日、原因不明の機材トラブルが起こり、彼女たちのライブが中止の危機に陥ってしまう。出張中の支配人にかわり、その危機を救ったのは、過去一世を風靡した巨大な箱スタ『HAKKAKU』の支配人「八角コウゾウ」だった。

後日、彼の元を訪ねたハルたちは、滑川コンツェルンからの買収行為により、八角スタジオが閉館の危機に曝されている事を知る。

ライブを行い、客席を満員にすることができれば、資金援助が継続されると聞いたハルたち「777☆SISTERS」は、数々のアイドル、そしてファンとの思い出が詰まった『HAKKAKU』を救うために立ちあがることを決意する。しかし、そんな彼女たちの前に、思わぬ壁が立ちふさがって……。

「誰かの背中を押すために」、12人の少女たちが出した答えとは───。
