Spacek's beauty is the ultimate in this film and she makes it all the better for that. Incredibly sensuous. Let us say the only nice looking Nancy Allen had the part of Carrie instead. Miss. Allen almost definitely would have acted well but Carrie would have been less amazing under her. Best casting was made as it was for the lead.
The game the girls are playing in gym. It has been commented on that they take the game much too seriously considering it is only a gym class game.
