Yep. Just checked it out due to a recommend from the general boards. The dialog was so fast (even in cc) that I had to pause it, but it is definitely worth the watch. A pretty original and quirky film, even though the subject matter has been covered elsewhere.
Entertaining low budget (I guess) time travel caper I thought.
More in the Back to the Future rather than Primer sphere...
Well, for a Brazilian movie, US$ 2 million was a rather large budget. From what I read, the crew was amazingly efficient, so that they only generated the effects and spent money on what they really needed. The end result was quite polished. Also, the leading couple was made of very accomplished actors, such that they needed little repetition to achieve what the director wanted.
Wagner Moura (Zero) has recently been Pablo Escobar in Narcos, Spider in Elysium - so many people are aware of his caliber. Alinne Moraes (Helena) hasn't been in Hollywood, but she was already a very accomplished TV actress in Brazil and has been even better since 2011.
The combination of all the elements in the movie is what makes it special - great music ("Tempo Perdido" - the one they sing on stage - is an anthem in Brazil), the actors are all well-known (except the one who plays Otávio), the excellent cinematography. combination of genres, and respectable references to, not copies from, similar movies.

The subject may have been covered elsewhere. But the story itself is original. After all, music, and love, play a big role here! This gave a movie a great emotional edge - where drama and comedy were cleverly mixed. The last third of the movie shows a great combination of real-life lesson and learning to overcome one's flaws, and making life-changing decisions that may go against our wishes... for the better in the long run. If only we had someone from the future telling us what to do when we need it!

I'd watch it, but I don't speak no Portuguese.
