Having counted the number of rounds fired right up the time that our heroes were taken into the cave and Galbraiths estimate of the quantity they had left, the total they were issued in the first place, amounted to two reloads per man and what was in their revolvers.
I'd think that one standard box of fifty apiece would have been more realistic. The guns, BTW, were the S&W 38 caliber Military & Police model, which held six rounds.
