A group of Internet chatters decides to spend the summer together at a beach, renting an apartment and trying to know each other for real (or maybe they just want to have sex). Apparently a guy named "Sandmanz" committed suicide when he was ousted from the chatroom, and the group has split opinions on the matter. Some think he was just a psycho with no life, and he had it coming. Some others, like Yoo-na (the one who got closer to him), think that someone spread lies to force him to quit. Suddenly, the group is decimated by a mysterious figure who keeps e-mailing everyone that his/her fate will not be unlike Sandmanz's. Und alles beginnt auch wunderbar, die vier Jungs und vier Mädchen haben reichlich Spaß: Nette Leute, knallblauer Himmel, feiner Sandstrand und guter Sex. 눈부신 여름날 해변, 푸른 파도와 작열하는 태양이 있는 바닷가로 여덣명의 통신동호회 아이들이 여행을 떠난다. 남해의 해수욕장으로 놀러가자는 제안이 담긴 이메일을 받은 도연(김민선 분)은 집결지인 진주역에 도착해 다들 내린 순간, 등뒤에 서 있는 사내의 날카로운 칼을 목격한다. 급히 기차에서 내리려 하지만 모든 문은 잠겨 있고 사내의 칼이 그녀의 목덜미를 관통한다. 한편, 도연의 죽음을 눈치채지 못한 동호회 아이들은 원일(이현균 분)의 별장에 도착하여, 아름다운 해변에서 젊음을 마음껏 발산한다. 스쿠버다이빙도 하고 모래찜질도 하며 즐거워하던 7명은 샌드맨 이야기가 나오자 순식간에 어색해진다. 동호회에서 제명된 뒤 자살한 걸로 알려진 샌드맨 때문에 술자리는 싸움판으로 돌변한다. 그리고 얼마 뒤, 몰래 별장을 나와 정민(진태성 분)과 섹스를 하던 유나(이승채 분)의 비명소리가 들린다. 남경(김현정 분), 상태(이정진 분), 원일, 재승(양동근 분), 영우(이세은 분) 다섯이 발견한 것은 피범벅이 된 유나의 차뿐이다. 위험이 다가오고 있음을 느끼며 그들은 샌드맨이 보낸 이메일을 발견한다. 아이들은 실종이 메일과 관련이 있다고 판단, 발신인을 추적하는데.
