1.When one lady offers Haghi some money he tells her something like he is wealthier than Ford. Ford!?! Ford!?! Henry Ford the automaker?
- When the spy goes looking for the girl he runs near building walls that have weathered posters of Fritz Lang's last film before this--Metroplis!
- A set from Metropolis seems used again here. The car a lady rides in looks just like the one owned by Freeder/Frayder/Fretter (Freder) in Metropolis!
- Since they are referring to Met. and using some of the same sets and actors from that legendary movie why not have put Brigitte Helm in small part as the lady who is blackmailed by Haghi and offers him money I referred to above. I am very happy with the beautiful ladies who played Haghi's spies/molls so I do not recommend Helm play one of them but again why not a small part for her?
- Willy Fritsch who plays one of the film's good guy spies was supposed to be in Metropolis as an extra. I believe that is only totally unconfirmed and may as well be a mere rumor.
- Although Gustav Frolich seemed born to play Freder he was in fact a really last minute replacement for an Italian actor who I believe already shot some scenes as the character. Frolich did not mutually get along with Lang and therefore I completely see why he did not have what became Fritsch's role in this.
