I was randomly scrolling through user lists on Letterboxd and discovered that this 1931 movie is the most recent winner of the 'Adapted Screenplay' Oscar which I haven't seen - I was rather shocked to realise this, as there are at least three or four more recent Best Picture winners which I have yet to see. Somehow I have - entirely unwittingly - come close to completing viewing of this category.

Has anybody seen this? I should try to complete the set by seeing the first five winners - although as one of those is lost film The Patriot I may never have the opportunity to do so...

My other 'missing' winners are: 7th Heaven, The Big House and Cimarron.
