Set in Rome as the name suggests. Every time I watch one of these movies, I just want to hop on a plane and fly to Italy.. this and Roman Holiday, Three coins in a Fountain, they all show the romance of Italy..(one can daydream)
To wear those clothes they wore and have a chic little dinner in an apartment like that we can only fantasize about in this day and age. The scenery of Italy takes back seat to nothing in this film but for my money the greatest scene is at the romantic little restaurant when the singer sings "Al di La".
Suzanne Pleshett was gorgeous, Troy Donahue handsome, Rozzano Brazzi charming as ever. Wonderful sound track.
They don't make movies like this anymore...
