After Denise persuades him to honeymoon with her on the Cote D'Azur in France, they enlist the aid of a French psychiatrist who offers to regress Alan back to the time of the accident and cure him.

Il dottor David Prade, noto psichiatra francese, promette a una giovane donna, Denise Colby, di guarire il suo giovane sposo Alain che dopo essere stato vittima di un incidente automobilistico è preda di strani raptus omicidi nei confronti della moglie. Il dottor Prade sottopone Alain a numerose sedute ipnotiche ma, in realtà, il vero scopo dello psichiatra è quello di spingere il suo paziente alla pazzia, poiché è morbosamente innamorato di Denise. La donna, ignara di tutto, ripone infinita fiducia nella cura, invece Prade cerca di far credere ad Alain, mediante numerosi indizi, di essersi macchiato dell'omicidio della moglie. L'uomo però, con difficoltà, si sottrae alle cure dello psichiatra e corre a casa, proprio in tempo per poter fermare Prade, che sta tentando di sedurre Denise. Allo psichiatra non resta che la fuga ma...
