Discuss Two-Faced Woman

I'm a definite fan of this delightful film. It's often hilariously funny (as well as is surprisingly saucy for 1941), proceeds at a brisk, highly agreeable pace, is well done, the performances are wonderful, and it's great seeing Garbo having an obviously good, lighthearted time. And that "La Chica Choca" dance sequence is a true treat not to be missed! I think comedy suited Garbo well, and that she's an absolute delight here.

Meanwhile, Constance Bennett is terrifically spot-on and hilarious as Melvyn Douglas' former (and kind of still current) romantic interest who's decidedly not a happy camper about having female (Garbo times two) competition - nor about ever losing her poise! Bennett's performance is a true comedy gem and a thorough joy to behold.

Melvyn Douglas is his usual reliably charmingly stellar self. Too, Ruth Gordon gives a sparklingly engaging performance.

This movie always keeps me entertained and interested whenever I watch it. In my opinion, itโ€™s a definite winner.
