Biography

Former University of Georgia Football player turned actor, Chris Marrone is known for work on Westworld, Vampire Diaries, The Internship and The Girl in the Backseat. Based out of Los Angeles. Chris was born in Tallahassee, Florida. His parents first met on an off Broadway play in New York. His father a stage, television and film actor and his mother a musical theater actor. Chris has always had a love for filmmaking and storytelling. The idea of working in the entertainment industry was cultivated in him at a young age from hearing the stories from his parents about their experiences in the business. Chris played football all throughout high school and into College, he finished his career at the University of Georgia 2008-2010. After the conclusion of his football pursuit, he was contacted by Coach Van Halanger informing him of Casting Director searching for real football players who could act. Taking the leap of faith, Chris headed to Atlanta to make the audition. Being his first audition, casting director Shay Griffin insisted he pursuit being an actor due to his raw talent. After booking that role in the NBC film "Field of Vision" he knew this is what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. Over the past decade he’s worked on a multitude of features and television shows. And has just completed his first feature film that he wrote, produced and started in titled "The Girl in the Backseat"
