Biography

Graham Wallington is a new media entrepreneur that has a passion for LIVE broadcasting.

After a few years of SCUBA instruction in various parts of the world he founded a property marketing company in South Africa. in 1996 he fell in love with the Internet and began producing corporate websites in Johannesburg, South Africa long before it was fashionable. In 1998, along with Paul Clifford, he founded AfriCam.com which focused on LIVE wildlife broadcasting on the Internet. AfriCam went on to hold the highest trafficked website in Africa position for 6 years. However after the 'dotcom bubble' burst in 2001 the company was unable to survive due to the inability to secure capital.

Graham went on to form to TV channels in South Africa (BTN and ProperTV) and produced several natural history documentaries and series.

In 2006 he founded WildEarth Media along with his wife and partner, Emily Wallington. WildEarth, like AfriCam before it, is a LIVE wildlife broadcaster. However, WildEarth focuses on distributing channels and streams on behalf of other producers on both the Internet and television, in return for a 50% share of revenues.

In addition WildEarth owns a majority stake in Safari Television (existing producer), Ocean television (new producer) and WildEarth Interactive (Internet streaming platform).
