Biography

Elizabeth is an actress and registered nurse. She was first introduced to drama in school and started acting professionally in Channel 8’s Chinese drama production On the Fringe in 2011, playing a rebellious teenager which was highly successful, and in turn making her film debut in Imperfect (2012). She thoroughly enjoys and immerses herself in the performing arts, ranging from modern dance, Chinese dance, cheerleading and music (playing the piano and guzheng) to theatre. Besides the performing arts, she obtained her black belt in Wushu at a tender age of 10 and landed a role in Zero Calling 2 where she played a schizophrenic killer in 2015.

From 2013 to 2017, Elizabeth attended National University of Singapore for a bachelor’s degree in Nursing and graduated with honours. Despite her hectic school and clinical schedule, she continued acting and took on supporting roles in various Channel 8 Chinese drama productions and was nominated for Best Newcomer in 2013. Effectively bilingual, she can also be seen in Channel 5’s English productions and telemovies such as Gone Case (2014) and Spelling Armadillo Season 1 and 2. She is currently filming in Channel 5’s long-form drama, Kin.

Elizabeth is doing nursing research to improve nursing practice and patient outcomes in her spare time. Passionate about helping the underprivileged and impoverished, she has volunteered on medical trips to Indonesia and Nepal.
