Julie Christie is known for her role as Liz in the movie comedy "Billy Liar (1963)". Other memorable movies she starred in are "Doctor Zhivago (1965)", "Fahrenheit 451 (1966):", "Shampoo (1975)", "Troy (2004)" and "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)".
She won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role as Diana Scott in the movie "Darling (1965)", and received nominations for the Academy Award for Best Actress for the movies "McCabe & Mrs. Miller (1971)" and "Afterglow (1997)".

Love her, a great actress and a very cool lady. And, of course, she was staggeringly beautiful.
It's an obvious pick, but I do feel that her sublime performance in Away from Her may be a career-topper, while McCabe and Mrs. Miller would be her best film (discounting her cameo - playing herself - in Nashville, that is).
