RIP David disappointed

It would seem that his final years were difficult and painful, so I guess this is a blessing. But it's still sad news. RIP.

I earlier tonight saw a bit of a YouTube performance video of him from earlier this year and it was very sad to see. He really shouldn't have still been performing at all, as he was nearly fully incoherent.

When I was growing up during the '70s The Partridge Family was massively popular with kids and teenagers, as were the hit songs David Cassidy put out. His "I Think I Love You" was a #1 hit.

I remember watching The Partridge Family and how the girls loved him, and even years later when he did a commercial for Mervyn's and how the women my age at work were swooning. It's sad to see him gone, but at least he's out of his misery. RIP David.

It is so sad that after the sudden death of Suzanne Crough (Tracy Partridge, the youngest member of The Partridge Family) two years ago, David Cassidy has now passed away.

Always a Teen Idol, R.I.P.

RIP

That is tragic his drinking caused him to destroy his liver and kidneys. I read Susan attended his memorial. I guess they mended fences, decades after he angered her for writing about their romance post PF days in his first memior. Then again, she might have came out of respect for a former friend and costar. Either way, it was sweet.
