ممثلة مصرية، ولدت في حي حلوان بمدينة القاهرة في عام 1932، تخرجت من إحدى المدارس الفرنسية، ثم اكتشفها الموسيقار الراحل محمد عبد الوهاب، وتعاقد معها لمدة ثلاث سنوات، وعملت بعدها في السينما من خلال الغناء والتمثيل، وعرفت بأدوار الفتاة المتسلطة، ومن أفلامها: (ارحم دموعي، كرامة زوجتي، أعز الحبايب، المصير)

Egyptian actress Sherifa Mahear was born in 1932 in the Cairo neighborhood, Helwan. She graduated from a French high school and was discovered by the prominent Egyptian singer and musician Mohamed Abdel Wahab, who signed her on for a three year contract. She went on to work in cinema, appearing as both a singer and an actress. Mahear is best known for playing an an aristocratic woman and for her roles in the films: “Irham Dmoo’y” (Pity my Tears), “Karamet Zawgaty” (My Wife’s Dignity), Aaz El Habayeb" (Dearest Beloveds), and “El Masir” (Destiny).
