Other actors have looked more fully stereotypically Santa-like, with huge longer white beard, more heavy-set build, etc., though for me Edmund Gwenn's thoroughly delightful, endearing Kris Kringle in 1947's Miracle on 34th Street will always easily be my favourite - and the ultimate - portrayal of that character. He's so perfect in the role that you can just imagine Mr. Gwenn being the exact same person and personality in his actual life!

Great song renditions, brat, that never get old, and that I'm glad they continue to turn up on radio stations, etc. every December.
