Every single time she has a show or movie coming out, she has to cause some media bullshiat.

Outrage and sensationalism beget interest, especially in an age when 1/3 of the country hates the president. Preaching to the choir is what these people are about.

What's her pattern? I'm not familiar...

Ellen Page is a social justice warrior who likes to shoot her mouth off about "injustice" and how so many people are "suffering" (including herself of course).

She's 32, never has to work again as long as she lives, and still can't stop complaining because apparently her parents never taught her the same lesson we all learn, that life isn't fair.

The stuff with her and Jussie Smollett was a turn off to me.

Yeah, and the ridiculous attack on Mike Pence was over the top. As far as I can tell, Pence never had a hand in actually harming alphabet people. Sure he had some antiquated conservative values but nobody on the left seems to be saying much about the similar beliefs held by our swarthy friends from the middle east.

I don't really see the logic in saying Ellen Page shouldn't be speaking out on homophobia or other forms of bigotry because she has it better than others in similar situations.

Also Mike Pence has been anti-LGBT for years so it's not too much of a stretch that gay people take issue with him.

Gays in America are just fine. It's not like it was 40 years ago. Using a national tv talk show to put on a show about something that's not happening (coincidentally, prompted by something that didn't happen) is just a bit dishonest. Nobody bats an eye at gays these days and they have more protections than anyone.

It's funny how SJW's hammer on Pence and yet our moo-slim friends from the Middle East & Africa, some of whom serve in Congress, all believe gays should be punished. This is an actual belief they all share, and yet they get a pass from any form of scrutiny. Did you know in Somalia, they stone or execute gays? Present day?

Also, I seem to recall Mike Pence swearing in Kyrsten Sinema (on a law book, not a bible) not that long ago.

Ellen wasn’t being dishonest about anything. Pence has been against gay rights for years and even Trump joked about how much Pence hates gay people.

And I’m not in support of Islamic countries or Islam period either to be honest so you won’t get any argument from me there. I doubt there are many liberals who actually give a pass to stoning gay people though. The current Brunei hotel boycotts for example are in protest of new Sharia law in Brunei that advocates killing gay people.

Sure she was. The impetus for her little performance was a hoax hate crime, and she blathered on and on about some kind of deliberate efforts to hurt gays prompted by Pence and Trump which is about as dishonest as it gets. And I'm not going to debate you on what Pence thinks or feels because it doesn't matter. It's not like he's going to have a part in actually harming gays as Page whined about on national tv.

Are you really trying to suggest she was in on the hoax and knew Jussie was lying?

In on it? No, of course not, but literally everyone left of center didn't even question his claims. They went OFF, without evidence, with any form of corroboration, without even looking at the mere likelihood that there would ever even be 2 Trump supporters in South Chicago at 2am, who knew who Smollett was, let alone, throw bleach on him?!?!?! Put a noose around his neck?!?!?! Beat him up without even causing any apparent physical damage?!?!?! It made zero sense from the very start, and yet the bandwagon was bursting at the seems from the start.

One thing I notice about liberals is that victim status is so much of who they are they they have to invent hate crime, assault, and aggression from the right when all these things are absent, which is almost always. Page's rant was dishonest because the fake hate crime in question was never proven at that time.

Are you saying that this is false information?

A gay person isn't going to automatically take a cynical view on a reported hate crime like those on the right often do.

I wouldn't trust The New York Times to report accurately on the weather in Arizona, so yes, it's more than likely bogus information.

There's been an awful lot of claims of hate crimes being made as of late, especially in the festering, communist sh!thole known as Portland. An indie journalist there has been researching these claims and he's finding that claims are made, but official reports to law enforcement are not. They are actually warning people there that The Proud Boys are roaming around beating up alphabet people, lol.

"I wouldn't trust The New York Times to report accurately on the weather in Arizona, so yes, it's more than likely bogus information."

And you're basing this on... what? Trump calling them "fake news"? The NY Times cited among other things the Federal Bureau of Investigation, is the FBI lying too?

I don't need Trump to discern what news outlets are full of sh!t and which aren't.

Other than the incident in Charlottesville, almost all the actual hate crimes as of late are left-on-right crime.

Regardless of where NYT is getting their statistics from, I have no doubt whatsoever that claims of increased hate crimes committed by conservatives are completely bogus. The mainstream news media are 100% completely biased and untrustworthy and this is based on what I've seen and heard myself over the past 3 years especially.
