Biography

Dennis Latos is a Greek/American Filmmaker. He is the founder of Latos Entertainment, a New York based independent production company. In 2021, Dennis directed, produced and edited a film titled 'Leylak' - a heartbreaking story which took place during the height of the COVID pandemic. 'Leylak' premiered at the 2021 Annual Tribeca Film Festival where it was awarded the Special Jury Prize for best narrative short.

The film was reviewed by Variety Magazine as one of the best shorts of 2021 and was predicted to be an Oscar nominee in the Short Film Live Action category. Dennis was born and raised in Queens, New York. He studied Film & TV at Hofstra University and NYU Tisch School of the Arts in Dublin, Ireland as part of a film program intensive.
