One of my favourites, and up there with Ronald Colman, Basil Rathbone and the like as one of the best voices in cinema history.

Funnily enough, I had never clicked until recently that the actor Tom Conway, best-known for such '40s chillers as The Seventh Victim and Cat People, was Sanders' older brother. I had always found them remarkably similar in vocals and mannerisms but only discovered this fact recently.

I read that Tom changed his last name after losing a toss to his brother. If not for that he would still be called Tom Sanders.
He became known as The Falcon in the movies, replacing his brother George Sanders, when the latter got bored with playing that role.

They both appeared together, playing the roles of brothers, in two movies: "The Falcon's Brother (1942)" and "Death of a Scoundrel (1956)". Zsa Zsa Gabor, George Sanders' ex-wife, was also in that last movie.
