Discuss Bette Davis

Bette Davis had so many great movies.. such a long list. My favourites being Dark Victory, All About Eve and Now Voyager, although I can't think of a movie that I haven't enjoyed.

Now, Voyager definitely is my overall favourite Bette movie. I also really like The Petrified Forest, despite that Leslie Howard's dialogue in it is quite over-ripe at times. But since it's straight from a stage play, and all so extremely well done, the ripeness feels entirely understandable.

It's so hard to choose with quite an array of classics to her name. I think The Little Foxes may be my favourite Davis film, with The Letter just pipping it if I were voting based on her performance.

Gosh, for me it's tied between Hush Hush, Sweet Charlotte and Now, Voyager! The former I saw a few times when I was small and it made a lasting impression on me. I also really like All This and Heaven Too.

True. So many, so long a list. Never saw a Bette Davis movie that I didn't like, so it's hard to pick one favorite. Some of mines are, Mr. Skeffington, Of Human Bondage, In This Our Life, The Letter, Another Man's Poison, Dead Ringer.
