Biography

An Egyptian singer- songwriter, born in 1964 to an Egyptian father and a German mother. As a child, she grew up in Germany, then moved back to Cairo for high school and studied IT at the AUC. Her work was very limited yet her popularity is very big. In 1991, she produced her first album which achieved massive success especially the hit single “Ala Bali” or “On My Mind.” She produced three albums only, and after her marriage she completely disappeared from the industry, only to resurface again after the revolution in 2011 with her hit single made for the martyrs “I Love You My Country” or “Bahebek ya Belady.” She also released a religious album in 2009.
