Elizabeth Ann Behrs (born December 26, 1985) is an American actress known for her starring role as Caroline Channing in the CBS comedy series 2 Broke Girls, which earned Behrs praise and nominations for the Teen and the People's Choice Awards. She is also known for her role as Gemma Johnson on the CBS sitcom The Neighborhood.

She made her screen debut in the 2009 comedy film American Pie Presents: The Book of Love, and later ventured into television roles. After 2 Broke Girls, she returned to feature films with the 2015 productions Chasing Eagle Rock and Hello, My Name Is Doris. In 2018, she was cast in her second major TV role, playing Gemma Johnson in the CBS sitcom The Neighborhood.

She voiced Carrie Williams in the animated film Monsters University (2013) and Moochie in the television series Home: Adventures with Tip & Oh.

Beth Behrs wurde 1985 in Lancaster im US-Bundesstaat Pennsylvania als älteste Tochter von David Behrs, Präsident eines Colleges, und der Grundschullehrerin Maureen Behrs geboren. Sie hat eine sechs Jahre jüngere Schwester. 1989 zog die Familie nach Lynchburg (Virginia). Sie begann mit dem Schauspiel im Theater im Alter von vier Jahren, spielte Fußball und besuchte die E.C. Glass High School.

Mit fünfzehn Jahren zog sie mit ihrer Familie in das Marin County nach Kalifornien.Sie besuchte ab 2001 die Tamalpais High School und wurde in das Schauspielerprogramm der Schule aufgenommen. Behrs machte eine Ausbildung am American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco und spielte im Musical Dangling Conversations: The Music of Simon and Garfunkel sowie in den Stücken Korczak’s Children und Tony Kushners A Bright Room Called Day mit. Sie erhielt eine klassische Gesangsausbildung.

2004 zog Behrs nach Los Angeles, wo sie bis heute lebt[9], um an der UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television zu studieren. 2005 spielte sie Sandy Dumbrowski in einer Produktion von Grease am Ray of Light Theatre in San Francisco. 2006 wurde sie zur Miss Marin County gekürt. Im Abschlussjahr begann sie, für einige Rollen vorzusprechen. 2008 machte sie ihren Abschluss in kritischer Theorie. Danach erhielt Behrs ein Stipendium der Young Musician’s Foundation Vocal. Im Juli 2016 verlobte sich Behrs nach sechs Jahren Beziehung mit dem Schauspieler Michael Gladis.
