Robert Stadlober (born 3 August 1982) is an Austrian actor and musician. His sister is Anja Stadlober, also an actress.

Robert Stadlober was born on 3 August 1982 in Friesach in the Austrian province of Carinthia, and grew up in Puchfeld in the Steiermark (Austria) and in Berlin (Germany). As a child he worked as a voiceover artist for several films and he acted in different TV productions and motion picture films also. His largest success is playing the main role as Benjamin Lebert, a partially disabled teenager at a boarding school, in the film Crazy (2000). Later, he starred in Summer Storm (2004), a gay coming-of-age story set at a rowing summer-camp. Although The Advocate has claimed that he is bisexual, Stadtlober himself objects to such labelling, saying that he's just had some homosexual experiences and that this is normal.

He was awarded the "best young actor" award at the Montreal International Film Festival in 2004 for his portrayal in Summer Storm.

He is also a singer and musician. He used to be in the rock Band Gary with David Winter and Rasmus Engler where he was the lead singer and played the guitar. He is now a third of Indie band Escorial Gruen.

Further, since 2007 he also runs the independent record label Siluh records.

Until 2007, he made three movies together with Tom Schilling: Crazy (2000), Play It Loud! (2003) and Black Sheep (2006).

Robert Stadlober currently lives in Berlin (2008).

Il a grandi à Berlin en Allemagne. Enfant il a travaillé comme narrateur pour plusieurs films et a travaillé dans des productions télévisuelles et cinématographiques. Il tient le rôle principal de Benjamin Lebert, un adolescent partiellement handicapé, dans le film Crazy (2000). Il a reçu une récompense à Montréal dans le cadre du Festival du cinéma International en 2004, pour son interprétation dans Summer Storm (Sommersturm en VO).

Il est aussi chanteur et musicien. Il a joué dans le groupe rock Gary avec David Winter et Rasmus Englerwhere où il était le chanteur principal et le guitariste.

Depuis 2007, il dirige aussi le label indépendant Siluh. Robert Stadlober vit actuellement à Berlin (2008).

Neben dieser Performance ist Robert Stadlober auch von seiner Interpretation des 16-Jährigen halbseitig gelähmten Benjamin Lebert in Crazy von 2000 bekannt. Der Nachwuchsschauspieler wurde von Kritikern bejubelt und erhielt 2001 auch den Bayerischen Filmpreis.

Der österreichische Schauspieler, Synchronsprecher und Musiker Robert Stadlober wurde am 03. August 1982 in Friesach in Österreich geboren, verbrachte seine Jugend jedoch in Berlin. Mit 15 Jahren verließ Robert Stadlober die Schule. Nach seinem Durchbruch wurden dem Jungschauspieler zahlreiche Rollen in Hollywood angeboten. Der eigenwillige Robert Stadlober zeigte jedoch kein Interesse und tourte lieber mit seiner Band Gary, die er 2000 mit Freunden gegründet hatte. Zusammen mit Bernhard Kern betreibt Robert Stadlober das Independent-Label Siluh Records. Obwohl der beliebte Blondschopf, die meiste Zeit mit seiner Band und seinem Label verbringt, hat sich Robert Stadlober nicht gänzlich aus dem Filmgeschäft zurück gezogen. 2004 hatte der beliebte Schauspieler die Hauptrolle in dem Jugendfilm Sommersturm, in dem er den jungen Ruderer Tobi verkörperte, der sich in seinen besten Freund Achim (Kostja Ullmann) verliebte. 2010 konnte man Robert Stadlober in der österreichischen Satire Kottan ermittelt – Rien ne va plus sehen, die allerdings erst 2011 in die deutschen Kinos kam.
