Happy Belated, Mark

Jim Nash on the NBC TV sitcom "Please Don't Eat the Daisies" (1965-1967) was fortunate enough to be seen on retro reruns for a while a few years back, co-starring the very lovely Patricia Crowley and their character's four sons.

Some say that "Please Don't Eat the Daisies" continues to hold the record as the eldest television series in which its principle cast members continue to survive, so please keep up the good work for many, many more years, Patricia, Mark and family!

Also noteworthy would have to be Mark's long marriage to lovely and famous actress Barbara Stanger, whom we all wish well, as well because that is one fine and mannerly and pleasant and beautiful set of very talented performers there, Barbara, Mark, Patricia and the boys, and that cute pup who does not ham it up for the cameras the way kids today do, and this is a very good thing, a series with nobody annoying on it for a very welcome change of pace, right?

Wish we all could have seen more of his great acting from this fine fellow Mark and the rest of that bunch, as well!
